What is the University of Scouting?
The Denver Area Council is excited to introduce the University of Scouting. It is an action-packed, fun-filled day of supplemental training where you choose the sessions that you want to take.
Sessions are led by experienced volunteers and are designed to help leaders improve their skills and increase their knowledge about Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing and Commissioner Service. You are encouraged to join us for a day of quality learning, fellowship and FUN!
Registration Information
Online registration is closed. You may walk in to the University of Scouting for classes. The registration fee for walkins is $50. Registration for Day Care/Camp is closed. Walk in registrations for Day Care/Camp will not be accepted.
What Courses are Available?
The course catalogs (available for download below) show when each class will be offered and are broken down by program. Some classes are good courses for ALL leaders. These class names will appear on every course catalog. These courses have the word "ALL" in front of the class name in the online registration process. You are not limited to courses for your program. If you see a class that interests you, sign up!

The University of Scouting replaces Cub Scout Leader Pow Wow and Boy Scout Leader Chautauqua and brings all leaders together in one location for a GREAT day of Scouting!
