Frontier District Mini Scout Show

At the October Roundtable, October 7th, 7pm, we will be having a mini Scout Show to showcase our units.  All units (Venturing Crews, Boy Scout Troops, and Cub Scout Packs) plan on attending and having a display/presentation on your unit.  For more infomation and to RSVP a spot, contact Chuck Kubin, Frontier District Webelos to Scout Chair.

  • Each unit should have 2 join nights

  • The join nights should occur in the last week of August or the first 2 weeks of September

  • Let Davis know when your join nights are and your flyer needs as soon as possible

Chaplain Aide Training Course

All-day course designed to train both Troop Chaplain Aide and Chaplain/Assistant Scoutmaster so when they return to the troop the Team begins to work together to provide a comprehensive religious element to the troop's program. You will learn the foundation of the Scout Oath and Law, Duties and Responsibilities of your position, and how to prepare a Scout's Own, and plenty more, rolled into one fun-filled, action-packed day.

Order of the Arrow - White Buffalo Chapter

Hey White Buffalo,

Summer is coming to a close, schools are back in session but we have a lot of great weather still ahead of us and plenty of things to do in the OA! Earlier this month a few of our guys went on a four day backpack outing around Snowmass I hope to hear more about there adventure at this Thursday gathering. (September 2nd, 2010 at 7pm) Listed are important upcoming lodge events and chapter activities.

  • Service Weekend at Camp Tahosa Oct 1 st - 2 nd One day service at Camp Tahosa, opportunity for Ordeal candidates
  • Lodge Leadership Development Nov 20 th Training for Arrowmen with classes that are varied and fun.

Chapter Activities

  • Late September - We are considering an outdoor climbing day as long as the weather cooperates.
  • October, Interested in Chapter or Lodge leadership?. Even as an Ordeal member, you can run for a position and get the training you need at the Lodge Leadership Development (LLD) in November Plenty of time to see what you can do in the Chapter!
  • EAA Young Eagles/Aviation merit badge Oct 22nd - 23rd 8am - Actually fly a real experimental aircraft), some openings may still be available.
  • For those of you who haven't attended a meeting since your Ordeal, We have lodge flaps for your uniform, to receive one you must attend and let me or the Chapter Advisor know if it is your first meeting.Meeting date & time - September 2 , 2010 at 7pm
