Camp Cortlandt Dietler Located on the northeast section of the Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch in Elbert, Colorado, Camp Dietler is where the action is. At an elevation of over 7,000 feet, and less than 2 hour's drive from downtown Denver (driving directions), Camp Dietler has sweeping views of Pike’s Peak and the Front Range of the Rockies.
If you and your troop like a little more adventure, Camp Cortlandt Dietler is the place for you. Offering a "back to basics" patrol cooking and camping program, and an opportunity to earn a variety of merit badges, Camp Dietler exposes Scouts to new and exciting experiences including mountainboarding, blacksmithing, bouldering, climbing in mountain crevices, and more. Camp Dietler also offers a custom first year camper program titled Shakedown where tents, platforms, patrol boxes and cooking gear are provided.
